The North Carolina Cria Crop

We now have the 2014 crias on the ground.  Three boys and a girl this year.  Our girl Cleo's Sparkle D was born July 4th and thus her name.  She is a light fawn and rules the cria herd.  Chardonnay, a white female gave us a multi, a white boy with beige spots,  Phoebe, a white girl had a boy that is beige and Dutchess our true black girl gave us the last boy who is a medium brown color with great archectiture and fine fleece.  We are watching the crias play and grow in their new pasture in North Carolina.

We have bred back several girls as well as our 2012 crop of females to expand our herd.  We are anxious now to see the new crias that will come in the spring or in the fall to avoid the summer heat of North Carolina.  New breeding cycles are under way, with the herd sires on the farm.
